The Facebook Time Saver

Have you ever not wasted time when you meant to "jump on Facebook real fast?" No. Of course not. Whether it's a cat video, the women laughing hysterically in the Chewbacca mask, or children seeing fresh water for the first time in a 3rd world country...something will always catch our attention and consume our time and energy.

On top of that, with the ever-changing algorithm, our newsfeed changes more than P-Diddy Puffy Combs name. We have to stop this. And here's how...

FRIEND LISTS!

"Friend lists" are lists we can create to have our own customized news feeds. For example, you could have a list of all your friends that went to the same college as you. You could have a list of every client you've ever had. You could have a list with every "white whale" you're trying to harpoon and bring in to your business. It's endless.

When you do this correctly, you can effectively like a lot of posts, comment on some posts, and maybe even share a post in a matter of minutes.

Why is this important? Well, in our social media driven world, this keeps you TOP OF MIND at all times to your people! And when you stop selling and start being top of mind, your business will grow because of it.

Here are a couple of screen shots of where you'll find this on your Facebook page.

Click where it says "Friend Lists."

Then, you'll click where it says "Create List."

You can now title your lists, then pick the friends that you want in each one. Once it's created, you can use your custom lists to interact and engage with exactly who you want to without filtering through all the "other stuff."
