Don't Wave The Flag
In war…if one side was getting destroyed by the other, they could make a decision. That decision, to surrender.
But back then, I get it. I really do.
They were surrendering to keep from dying.
We, on the other hand, are very different.
If we aren’t careful, we will raise that flag for other reasons…
I don’t get my way.
Things get hard.
I’m not good right away.
I don’t see instant results.
Are you waving the flag of surrender?
Are you giving up on what could work before you give it a chance?
Maybe it’s a certain script?
Maybe it’s a marketing idea?
Maybe it’s a video?
Where are you giving up too soon?
It’s time to stop.
I want to challenge you with three things…
#1 - Be honest with yourself.
Take a moment to stop reading and think…
There are areas in your life and business where you’ve quit. You know it.
Be honest, admit them, then RECLAIM THEM.
There’s nothing wrong with saying you’re wrong…I do it all the time!
#2 - Create accountability.
Where do you most want to wave the white flag of surrender?
No matter what your answer is…it’s ok.
Go create accountability.
Right now.
Go ask a friend that is either good at what you’re trying to be better at or a friend who’s also trying to improve in this area.
It makes all the difference.
#3 - Throw out the excuses.
Achieving is hard.
It’s why the majority of people live in the middle.
They do more than nothing, but never enough to be extraordinary.
If you decide to do something, DO IT.
Let’s go ahead and get some out of the way…
It’s too early…
It’s too late…
I’m not ready…
I don’t know where to start…
I’m not as talented as they are…
My life is too hard…
I don’t know what they want…
I’m just not good enough…
Geez….did we cover all of them?!
What area of your life or business do you need to resurrect? Comment it below. I want to know so I can be encouraging you.
Now throw that white flag in the trash and keep going.
You are worth it.
