Master Your Story.

No one sells anything that's unique. In every arena, the difference is the people.

So that creates a big problem. Most businessmen and women try to perfect their ability to sell a product. But if there are 100’s or 1000’s of others out there doing the same thing, your efforts end up falling on deaf ears.

People don’t buy what we have, people buy how we make them feel or the problem we are able to solve.

Our world wants everything in their life to be easier. They want to do life with people they like. And we will avoid people that don’t help those two things happen.

If you’re reading this, you made a great decision. Because at this very moment, you have friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members that are about to come into a buying decision and they are not going to use you. And that hurts.

Most of us fall into two categories…we constantly talk about our product on social media and are super annoying to our sphere of influence. So they have deemed us as “white noise.” Or, we are the other person. We are so afraid of becoming the annoying person, we literally are scared into doing nothing.

Both ways are bad. Both people result in getting far less referral business, repeat business, and “layups” than we should be getting.

How many times have you been on the wrong end of this story? You hear a friend talking about just buying a house…but it wasn’t with you. You drive out of your neighborhood only to see someone else’s sign in your neighbor's yard. These moments suck!

Nothing feels worse than in that single moment where you realize that someone you cared about what taken care of by someone far less qualified than you.

Why did that happen? In that moment, they were more memorable than you! They told a story that was more compelling. Or, they just told a story. And with your story being non-existent, their's was the only one to grab.

Mastering your story is about four things….

  1. Identifying who you are. (This is far deeper than you might expect)
  2. Identifying your target market within your sphere.
  3. Picking the 4-6 storylines you’re going to choose to work within.
  4. Executing those stories daily to create raving fans and walking ambassadors.

Mastering your story is the greatest thing you can do for your business and life.

Why? Because it allows all the pain and successes you’ve had in your past not go wasted. When you allow them to be learned from in a place of authenticity, while it’s connecting you to others, it’s also releasing stress, pressure, and anxiety that you felt inside for a long time.

If this has struck a chord with you, be on the look at. “Master Your Story” is coming soon!
