"How to Finish December Strong on Social Media"

The name of the game is engagement. That is it. Engagement leads to the opportunity to add value, adding value leads to the opportunity to earn influence, influence leads to the opportunity to cast vision, and when you properly cast vision consistently, it creates walking ambassadors that have buy-in to your success.

Why does engagement matter?

We are being “sold too” at every corner. The mass amount of messages we are receiving are non stop! So we have two options, join the party…or do something different! We also are battling the big players as well. They are buying up ad space by the thousands and thousands. For most of us, we can’t compete with that. Which means that storytelling to create engagement is our best weapon to get to the heart of people as they see ad after ad. And it’s FREE! And, it creates lifelong fans that will refer you more business than you could ever run an add for.

Engagement -> Value -> Influence -> Vision -> Walking Ambassadors/True Fans

1. Post something that creates engagement!

    1. What’s your biggest New Years resolution?

    2. My steak post.

    3. Post about deleting friends and you’re safe!

2. Add value in a way that isn’t real estate or your industry related.

    1. Do a live video about the book you’re reading.

    2. Write a blog post about how to stick to your New Years resolutions.

    3. Tell a story of when a short-term failure led to a long-term success.

3. Gain others influence by creating a post worthy of being shared.

    1. A quote from someone.

    2. A bible verse.

    3. A challenge. Example, I dare you to pay for the person’s coffee, breakfast, lunch, etc. tomorrow. Share this post and encourage your friends as well.

4. Cast vision through storytelling.

    1. Tell them something about your story or about the passion you have for what you do that encourages you and keeps you going.

5. Hand select a group of people to invite to your “VIP group”. The perfect addition to the start of 2018. (more to come on this in the future and through coaching)
