empwr LOs. What marketing has taught me about life!

LO (5).png

It’s 11:49pm as I type this blog. It’s day #8 in blogging every single day. I’m pretty pumped with myself. Haha.

Check that…I got distracted…it’s actually 1:42am now.

But none the less…I have something to say.

In the last 6 years I have made more bad decisions in business than good.

I’ve started a business and failed.

I’ve wandered around the business world just hoping people didn’t know I was a fraud.

I wasn’t one of them…I had no idea what I was doing.

Then, something happened…my effort matched my stride.

My bruises from falling turned into small successes.

Those small successes were proof that I was exactly where God wanted me to be.

God’s journey is better than any destination.

If I would have had it my way, I would have found instant success, thought I had arrived on my own, then become someone that I wouldn’t be proud of.

All of this brings me back to why I’m writing this…

Because tomorrow a new chapter gets written in the books.

empwr LOs happens.

I get to stand before a group of loan officers and use the gifts and abilities God has given me.

God made me to do this.

I feel no greater purpose than when I’m getting to help people get out of their own way and see opportunities that they’ve never seen before.

You see, people see what I do as marketing…I see what I do as eternal.

I’m helping Loan Officers and Realtors recognize their true worth. See their value.

The real estate industry tends to be a shallow place. It’s built on accolades, on awards, on merit.

People get caught up in constantly having to perform. They feel the pressure of success.

They lose sight of who they are. Quite frankly, we all do.

But marketing has taught me to be me.

Marketing has shown me how I’m unique, different, and set apart.

What does this blog have to do with you?

#1 - Be yourself.

Everyone else is already taken!

The only “x-factor” you have in your life and business is YOU. Embrace it. You’re a big deal!

#2 - Don’t overlook small beginnings.

I’ve heard it said that talent gets you places, but character keeps you there.

I’ve watched so many rise and fall because their path to success was so quick. It’s the bumps and bruises in the shadows that give you everything you need to persevere.

Shift your perspective…no matter where you are, your best is yet to come!

#3 - Keep going.

You matter. Never forget that.

Your life has incredible purpose!

To someone…you are their inspiration.

And if you don’t wake up in the morning passionate about something…reach out to me!

Because life isn’t worth living without your passion oozing out!

Thank you for reading this, I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know!
